I'm tired

I'm running on fumes at this point as I was up waayyyyyyyy past my bed time last night so I'll make this brief.

I got a phone call today saying I'd won a free month of gym dues. I think it's a sign. Success is on its way.

I went to the gym tonight and worked my butt off a little longer than normal. Half an hour on the machines rather than my normal 20 minutes. It doesn't sound like much, but I'm making progress.

I think I may want to try to run a 5k sometime in the future. I need to drop a substantial chunk of weight first, but maybe I can do it as I near my goal.

That's about it. I'm going to skip the weigh-in tonight because I just had a bunch of water and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to like what the scale says. I'll weigh myself again tomorrow.

  1. Never weigh yourself on a daily basis. In fact throw that scale away! I would recomend the gym 3-4 times a week because if you start going 7 your going to get burnt out and sick of it. Also to burn the most fat you wanna work out in the morning. This is because you have "fasted" by not eating for probably around 12-14 hours. Your body then relize on the stored fat for energy rather then the food you have ate through out the day. Also helps with getting your energy up thru out the whole day! Another thing that helped me was getting one or two sessions with a personal trainer. They made me a routine and made me feel comfortable being at the gym. Also they answered any diet or habit questions I had. Good luck with your journy! I like this idea of a blog I wanna make one! I'm thinking after new years of getting back on the gym band wagon. All this info I found online so keep searching there are a lot of great websites out there to help us.
