I Am a Weekend Warrior

Brandon at So Long, Fat Ass came up with a great idea.  He noticed he's always slipping on the weekends so he came up with the idea of having a Weekend Warrior Challenge.

This awesome logo was created by Ryan from No More Bacon.

Naturally, I'll be participating.  I've decided on the following goals:
1.  Exercise Friday, Saturday, and Sunday spending a total of 2 hours working out.  That's only an average of 40 minutes per day.  I can do that.
2.  Continue to log everything I eat on The Daily Plate.  I'm anticipating a little trouble with this one as I'm going out for Indian food tonight.
3.  Jump in a frozen lake for charity.  Okay, this one doesn't have anything to do with my health.  But I thought I'd give it one more shameless plug.  I'll post pics and a video next week.

  1. I like the challenge! I will match it! Good luck this weekend bro. Your gonna be cold! Hold onto the shorts man...

  2. Good goals! I like your charity goal. Weight goals are important but life goals are too :)

Is the Daily Plate any good for tracking? Can I my logs and post over to my blog? I've been using Excel (how untech of me).

Enjoy Indian food! Hm, I think I might make a healthy curry one day, will link you to recipe when I do. Have a great weekend!

  3. I just wanted to wish you luck on the challenge. I been following you on Twitter and your blog but haven't commented much--I'm wishing you well! How are you liking The Daily Plate site? I use Tweetwhatyoueat but honestly I haven't been logging like I should have. That's my next goal to work on :)
Good luck on the lake plunge thingie. BRRR!

  4. Good luck with the challenge. You can get the workouts in ... push through it. You'll need it to after that polar bear challenge ... yikes!
