Weigh-In Results

Before I get to the results of my weigh-in, I'd like to remind you that in tomorrow's post I'll be answering any question you ask (within reason).  If you haven't left a comment, please leave one here

I finished the six weeks of my 100 push ups training program.  All I have left to do is 100 push ups in a row.  Eep.  Today I did 50; my personal best.  I'll rest my arms and focus on cardio for a couple days.  Hopefully, I'll be able to perform.

Now let's get to the weigh-in.

Well, it's not the loss I was hoping for, but it was more than I was expecting (and probably deserved).  I snacked this week, I stopped using the daily plate (though I've been trying to pick it up again), I didn't get nearly enough sleep.  I took two days off in a row, and I took walks instead of hitting the gym hard. Still, half a pound lost is still a loss.

I have to admit I ate a peanut-butter banana to cope with my frustration, but the scale will go down next week.  It has to.

I did pass a major milestone this week though.  I've lost 30 pounds since I started blogging!  That's my badge of honor for the week.

  1. Hey, you made it to 30 pounds lost! Sweet! It may be a 1/2 pound loss, but it's still a loss!

  2. Hey man, nice weight loss this week, and nice job on the 100 pushups challenge so far! Just keep at it, and I'm sure you'll be able to do the 100.

  3. Wow, you can do 50 push-ups. I'm aiming for one!

A loss is a loss! I had a gain this week. Peeved at the scale but it's bound to happen. Keep up the good work and get back to the daily plate!

  4. A loss is a loss and you are rocking the pushups!

  5. A loss is a loss and 30 is a great, even number! Get back to tracking that food intake and hit up the gym, and you'll be fine!

  6. I'm going to start the 100 pushup challenge this week. I can't imagine I'll get that many done during the initial test, but I'll see how it goes this evening.

Congratulations on the 30 pounds, keep at it!

  7. Woo!!! 30 pounds definitely Is a milestone. I want to lose less than that and haven't been doing so great. But since you can do it then I can surely do it too right? You are inspiring!!!

  8. Idea:

Bring a backpack to the gym.
Put 30 lbs. worth of weights into the backpack.
Walk around for a while or walk on the treadmill for a short period.

I think this will help you to realize how much you have accomplished and will help to energize you to continue to work hard.

Keep up the great work, Andrew!

  9. Yay!! What are you going to do to celebrate this...or are you waiting for a different milestone to celebrate??

  10. Yay! Thirty pounds!

For your FYI good job on the push ups by the BTW

  11. A loss is a loss- great job!
